Our arts classes focus on projects, art history, artist biographies, music, karaoke, dance, and performing arts. Villagers work on individual projects, make holiday decorations, and create artwork to sell. Villager artwork is on display in the Program Center gallery year round.
Our academic classes include current events, local news, history, math skills, science experiments, language arts skills, creative writing, life skills training, movies, and TV. Our computer lab gets Villagers up to speed on e-mail, basic computer skills, keyboarding, social networking, and online research. You can play games and surf interactive learning websites.
In addition to the classes offered in the Program Center, Villagers participate in fun and educational field trips into the community to visit museums, art exhibits, nature centers and theatre.
