Mission of the Social Service Department

The mission of the Social Services Department is to advocate for the villagers and to foster a trusting environment.We strive to promote self-sufficiency through empowerment of person centered services to enhance the dignity and sense of self-worth of all we serve.

The social services staff advocates for Villagers and fosters a trusting environment. We strive to promote self-sufficiency and self-empowerment for all Villagers. Find us on campus or in our offices from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. We are the point people for a Villager’s family on any issue.

The social services team includes our Social Services Manager, Case Managers and an Administrative Technician.

Services include:

Communicating with families
Individual support sessions for Villagers, as needed
Support for setting reachable personal goals
Budgeting support and processing money requests
Travel planning and family visits
Case file management
Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
Helping with Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security forms

How to reach us

Case Managers are available by cell phone during regular work hours. One of us is always on call during other times. A Villager’s Case Manager sends a monthly report to families and upon request, can schedule regular phone calls or e-mails.
