Health Services Department

We promote a Villager’s lifelong physical and emotional well being by providing accessible, caring, comprehensive, and cost-effective primary health care.

Services include:

• Desk service weekdays 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm weekends
• Coordinating all health-related appointments
• Promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices
• Handling Villager health complaints
• Basic first aid
• Medication oversight
• Short-term minor illness treatment
• Training on health-related topics
• Around the clock on-call services

Staff

Health Services Director:  A Registered Nurse communicates with families, coordinates administrative duties, and assists with Villager care.

Health Services Coordinator: A Licensed Practical Nurse assesses Villagers, coordinates appointments, interacts with families, assists with Villager care, and fills in for the Director of Health Services in her absence.

Medication Technician: Handles prescriptions and medication supplies from families, medication transfers from pharmacy to residences. Accompanies Villagers on medical, dental, physical therapy, and other health-related appointments.

Health Services Technician: Assists medication technician as needed.
