On October 12, 2007, the Board of Trustees of Annandale Village honored Judge James Oxendine for his many years of service to Annandale with a dinner held at the Country Club of the South.  Friends and family of the Judge were on hand to recognize him for his dedication to Annandale.

Trustee, Rob Ponder was the Master of Ceremonies and presented a letter written for the occasion by Jeff Foxworthy, "You Might Be A Redneck Judge if...".

The list of toasters and roasters included the Judge's son, Commissioner John Oxendine, Annandale family member and daughter of founder, Dr. Maxwell Berry, Mrs. Daphne Eaton, Trustee and Attorney, Tanya Tate, Gwinnett Juvenile Court Judge, Robert Rodatus, and  long time friend and colleague, Gerald Davidson.

Charles Lotz, Chairman of the Annandale Board of Trustees, closed the evening with a special presentation to Judge Oxendine.  The new Villager Services Building on the Annandale campus was dedicated to Judge Oxendine.

The Villager Services building is home to the administrative offices, health and social services.  The main reception area is also located here.
