Annandale's Activities Coordinator plans a full calendar of activities for the Villagers each month.  Activities are specialized to meet the needs of Village residents, day program participants, and residents of the Special Care Center.

Activities include on-campus and off-campus offerings.  Some activities require "sign-up" while others are open to all Villagers.
On-Campus Activities include:  Bingo, DreamTeam (weekly campus newsletter written by the Villagers), Villager Council, and water aerobics.

Off-campus activities include:  Driving Magic, Field trips (Fernbank Science Center, American Indian Festival, Stone Mountain Park, and  Suwanee Jazz Concert), Mall Crawl (Visits to one of several local Malls), RedHats, Gentleman's Club, Library.
The Villagers participate in what we call "Monkey Business".  Annandale has participated in this program for over 5 years.  Our Villagers volunteer to package snacks for the primates at the Yerkes Field Station in Lawrenceville.  At the end of the week, Monkey Business takes a trip to drop off the snacks and observe the primates.

Seasonal activities are a highlight of the year.  Many local church and civic groups visit Annandale and entertain our Villagers or host holiday parties for them.  They always look forward to the Jim Ellis Holiday Party!

The Villagers give back to the community through their "Elf" Program.  Throughout the year, Villagers contribute to the Stocking Fund.  At holiday time, they purchase gifts for the needy in our community and visit spreading holiday cheer!  One of their favorite places to visit is the Animal Shelter.
